1. About these terms

These Terms of Use describe the conditions for using the SOE Consulting Inc. website. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use. These terms concern website use only and do not replace a signed service agreement.

2. Information and service scope

This website provides general information about our drafting, modelling, documentation and project coordination support for engineers and project teams. Website content is not engineering advice, an engineering approval, or a construction instruction. Engineering decisions and approvals remain with your appointed engineers.

Descriptions, images and examples are illustrative. Do not rely on website content for project-specific design, safety, construction or operational decisions. The scope, deliverables, fees and responsibilities for any engagement must be agreed separately in writing.

3. Acceptable use

Use this website lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site’s operation or security, introduce malicious software, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material. Do not use the forms to send spam or unrelated solicitations.

4. Website content and intellectual property

Website text, branding, graphics and other materials belong to SOE Consulting Inc. or their respective rights holders, unless otherwise indicated. You may view the site and retain copies for your own reference or internal evaluation of our services.

Except as permitted by applicable law or the relevant rights holder, do not reproduce, sell, distribute or modify website materials for other purposes. Do not imply that SOE endorses you or your services. Rights in client drawings and project deliverables are governed by the applicable project agreement, not these website terms.

5. Inquiries and job applications

Provide accurate information that you are authorized to share. Submitting an inquiry does not create a service agreement, confirm availability, or guarantee a response within a particular time. Submitting a job application does not guarantee an interview or employment.

Only upload relevant application materials in the formats and sizes shown on the form. Do not submit malware, unnecessary sensitive information, or third-party confidential project documents without authorization. You retain your rights in materials you submit; submitting them permits us to process them for the purpose of your inquiry or application, subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information submitted through the website is handled. Please review it before sending an inquiry or application.

7. External websites and services

The website may include external links and embedded services, including Google Maps and LinkedIn links. These services are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. We do not control third-party content or availability.

8. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep website information useful and accurate, but it may contain errors or become outdated. Content and services described on the site may change. Please contact us to confirm information relevant to a proposed engagement.

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be free from errors. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits obligations in a separate signed agreement.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively and do not amend an existing signed service agreement. Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement, those requirements apply.

10. Applicable law and your rights

These website terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights or protections that cannot be waived under applicable law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

11. Contact us
